To register to vote in Colorado, you must be: 15 years old. That means all eligible seniors, juniors, sophomores and most freshmen in your high school can register to vote today and vote at 18*.

By Mail: ID Requirements
When submitting your application by mail in Colorado, you are required to provide your Colorado driver’s license number or Colorado ID card number if you have one. If you have not been issued one of these ID numbers, you must provide the last four digits of your Social Security number. If you have not been issued any of these numbers, indicate NONE.
By Mail: Eligibility Requirements
To register in Colorado you must:
be a United States citizen
be a Colorado resident for at least 22 days immediately before the election in which you intend to vote, UNLESS that election is a presidential general election. In this case, you may be a resident for less than 22 days and cast a provisional ballot in person for president and vice president candidates ONLY
be at least 15 years old, and you must be at least 18 on or before Election Day to be eligible to vote
not be serving a sentence of detention or confinement for a felony conviction
By Mail: New Voter Instructions
If you are registering to vote for the first time in your jurisdiction and are mailing this registration application, federal law requires you to show proof of identification the first time you vote. Proof of identification includes current and valid photo identification OR current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or government document that shows your name and address. Online Instructions
To register online in Colorado, you need to provide at least ONE of the following: Colorado Driver’s License number, Colorado ID card number, OR the last four digits of your Social Security number. If you don’t have a Colorado Driver’s License, Colorado ID card, or Social Security number, you can still submit a voter registration application by mail.

Colorado Requirements for High School Voter Registration
The county clerk and recorder shall train and supervise the high school deputy registrars.
The county clerk and recorder shall issue sufficient materials to each high school deputy registrar for the registration or preregistration of all eligible students, employees, and other persons at the high school which the high school deputy registrar serves.
